JOIN THE WINNING TEAM

The key ingredient to the success of a program like the Essex Town Little League is the volunteer.   Yes, the youth of Essex are good athletes, but they could not have won 45 District and State Little League Championships in the last 14 years without you, the volunteer.   Every volunteer position is important and every volunteer position is critical to the success of the program.  Don't leave it up to your son or daughter's coach to do it all.
On registration night, each family will be asked to sign up for some volunteer job based on your baseball/softball skill and availability.    We need managers, coaches, and umpires for each of our baseball and softball teams (training will be provided).   In addition, consider these opportunities:
 
                                                    (1) help get the fields ready before the season starts
                                                    (2) help at team practices
                                                    (3) help out in the snack bar (our snack bar coordinators cannot do it alone)
                                                    (4) introduce the players and keep score on McGowan Field
                                                    (5) keep score on other fields
                                                    (6) be a team parent for your son's or daughter's team
                                                    (7) be your team's picture coordinator
                                                    (8) serve a term on the Board of Directors.
